That was the week that wasn't.


You know, I feel kind of silly posting a link to a news story about our president's bad behavior when, within the past five days, he's exhibited much, much worse behavior.

I'm still flabbergasted by this. Five days ago, I thought to myself, "this looks bad, sure, but the National Guard, the Corps of Engineers, et al will see to the problem quickly." Guess we all know how that turned out.


But then, when a presidential administration is focusing all its money and energies toward protecting its vital corporate interests, certain things (like the lives and welfare of thousands) tend to fall by the wayside.

At least we can rely on Kanye West to prove that there is such a thing as good TV these days.
